The New Zealand Thai Chamber of Commerce is to run a survey of our members. We would like to understand in a more quantitative way the views and opinions of members.

Our specific objectives of running the survey are to:

  • Provide input to for our 2012 business plan
  • Better understanding our members expectations and our delivery against those expectations
  • Ascertaining if members do perceive value from their membership
  • The effectiveness of support through our office, and supporting the operations of the chamber – events, communications etc.

We have been kindly offered the services of Business Research Specialists (BRS), an NZTCC member, to develop and run the survey. BRS are leading specialists in B2B market research and surveys. The survey will be web based and should take no more than 15 minutes to complete.

The time frame for the survey is as follows:

  • Launch date launch 7th  November with 3 weeks for collecting responses (25th November)
  • Analysis of the collected data to be completed by16th December
  • Final report by mid-January 2012
  • Announce results back to members by end of January 2012.

We recognise that confidentiality is important and so the individual responses collected for the survey will be kept confidential by BRS so the committee will not get access to them, only the overall results.

As an incentive for participation the chamber will be offering a lucky draw of 3 dinners for 2 (including a bottle of wine) at the Sheraton. Winners will be announced with the release of the survey results.

We are asking that you support the survey with your participation, as we believe it will be an effective way of improving the services and support the chamber provides to our members. We will, in conjunction with BRS, be contacting you directly by email with a link to the web survey.

Kind Regards

Nikki Cox
