| Company Profile: | Acumen Outsource was formed in October 2007 to provide regional support for international corporations undertaking investments in the emerging economies of Indochina through provision of senior advisory support at CEO and Board level, development of corporate reputation, strategic intelligence, and issues management. Its Principal, Justin Barnett, has more than 29 years experience as a communications professional and adviser – including more than a decade in SE Asia. During his time in Thailand, Justin was a initially a consultant to, and then Director of Corporate Affairs at, Tesco PLC’s operation in Thailand. In his seven year involvement with Tesco Lotus, the company increased its store network in Thailand from 20 to more than 420 stores across four different formats. Before joining Tesco Lotus he was Chief Executive Officer of Weber Shandwick in Thailand, a member of the Interpublic Group of companies. Prior to arriving in Thailand, Justin was a director, principal and shareholder of a number of public relations consultancies in New Zealand and Australia. Justin was Director of the British Chamber of Commerce in Thailand from 2005 - 2007. |
