Our function is to promote commerce beween Thailand and New Zealand. We maintain close links with relevant Thai and New Zealand Government Departments, Trade and Cultural Bodies.

 

How can we assist you?

The New Zealand - Thai Chamber of Commerce was legally registered in accordance with the Thai Chamber of Commerce Act B.E. 2509 and conducted its inaugural Annual General Meeting on Wednesday 16 October 1996.

In accordance with its Constitution, the objectives of the Chamber are:

  • To promote and develop commerce between Thailand and New Zealand.
  • To give advice, suggestions and assistance to Members and other organizations in both Thailand and New Zealand which are engaged in commerce, industry, agriculture or investment.
  • To promote trade relationships between Members and government authorities, or other organizations in Thailand and New Zealand in matters concerning trade, industry, commerce, agriculture, tourism and investment.
  • To publicize and promote Thai and New Zealand products and culture, and to provide information concerning commerce, industry and finance.
  • To increase the membership of the Chamber with Thai, New Zealand and other interested nationals and companies.
  • To conduct and sponsor any activities of benefit to Members and provide any services appropriate for a Chamber to perform without involvement in politics.
  • To carry out all other lawful activities as may be incidental or conducive to the attainment of the above objectives.
In Pursuit of these objectives the New Zealand - Thai Chamber of Commerce consults regularly with New Zealand and Thai Government officials on matters of interest or concern to Chamber Members though participation in the Foreign Chamber of Commerce Co-ordinating Committee (FCCCC).
