Member Information

Founded in 1903 as a British businessman's club, the British Club has developed over the last century to become an international club for professionals, business people and their friends.

The present clubhouse was built in 1910 and is an impressive colonial style building. The club has changed over the years to meet the need of its younger and more transient membership, providing a relaxed and friendly environment for a wide range of sporting, cultural, musical and social activities, yet remaining a popular venue for business lunches and fine dining.

Our dining and beverage outlets are The Verandah ( International and Thai cuisine), The Churchill Bar (Our British pub), and The Silom and Suriwongse Salas (Alfresco international and Thai cuisine). There is also a catering service for on-site and off-site private events for members. The Club offers a wide range of activities: Conference, function facilities, a fitness centre, two swimming pools, a massage room, tennis courts, squash courts, a snooker room, cricket nets, practice areas for football and rugby. The Club organises
100's of events each year for members.

The Club has reciprocal arrangements with over 180 clubs worldwide. Members may use these clubs when
traveling aboard.

Ownership
The Club is owned by its membership, of whom 64.3% are Commonwealth (Australian, British, Canadian, New Zealand), 14.5% Thai and 21.20% International.
